Where can I buy pomegranate seeds?

I just want to eat them and not deal with the mess! lol

Where can I buy pomegranate seeds?
just buy a pomegranate, enjoy it and save and dry the seeds.

That worked for me last year, and now I have several little trees!

oops, probably should have read the details!
Reply:you can buy them at most indian grocery stores.

that is where i buy mine to cook with.

;-)
Reply:Well most stores do not sell the seeded variety of pomegranates. The best way to get what you want without the mess is follow these guidelines when seeding a pom:

1) Slice each end of the pom off...some rind off the bottom and top.

2) Score the pom in four directions along the rind.

3) Get a bowl full of cold water, and begin breaking apart the pom.

4) Seed all the fruit out into the water, and once it is seeded, rinse, drain and store the seeds in an airtight container.

Placing the pom%26#039;s in water while seeding helps eliminate the mess. I tend to do it in the sink, and it takes me a total of 10 mins. to seed a very large pom.

It is worth the effort for the flavor and healthiness of the pom...so enjoy a little work for your pleasure and health! :)
Reply:i don%26#039;t think you can. if you just buy plan old pomogranate seeds they%26#039;ll be dry and not taste good!
Reply:Why do you just want to eat the seeds? I find them bitter. I buy pomegranates, suck the juice and discard the seeds.
Reply:health food store
Reply:Not going to happen.

Peeling one is an art. Start at the top at the %26quot;ring and peel back the skin. You may need a dull knife to start the peeling. Then it will expose sections, like oranges. Getting the first section out can be a challenge, you dig into the white/yellow stuff and pick it out with the seeds attached. After that is is easy to peel off the inner skins and release the rest of the sections.

Outside red skin off first, that is the trick (don%26#039;t try to cut it, the juice stains your clothes)
Reply:...no such thing as pre-packaged pom seeds...you are stuck with doing it the messy way like mankind has for thousands of years...
Reply:I have no idea.
Reply:I just saw them at albertson%26#039;s yesterday.there about3 dollars.
Reply:Where do you live? If you have any Persian stores around you, they may have them. I know there are two of them where I live (Irvine, CA) and one them always carries it. They are great aren%26#039;t they? Good luck!
