Not the juice, but the pure syrup...I need it for a drink recipe

Reply:The syrup is also called pomegranate molasses and is available at stores that sell Middle East food products. You will have better luck finding it if you ask for %26#039;molasses%26#039;. There are at least 4 brands that I%26#039;ve found and it comes in tall bottles. Pick a brand whose syrup/molasses is very thick as it works better. You can add some liquid if your recipe calls for a thinner product or use it as a flavoring right as it is. Makes a great hummus dip if you add some for flavor, and try it with well ground walnuts instead of garbanza beans for a different twist. A good recipe for a spread is called Muhammara which is made with blended toasted walnuts, pomegranate molasses and tomato paste, seasonings, etc. Enjoy.
